Gigantic Jellyfish

Hello Everyone, This week, I am sharing a card I created using the Magnificent Japanese Jellyfish image. With the hope of summer looming around the corner, I chose blues and purples. This morning, as I was preparing to work on my write up, I googled Gigantic Jellyfish and there are many articles over the years of these jellyfish invasions. Very interesting considering we do not often hear about that in Wisconsin.

When creating this project, I used watercolor paper along with my gelato crayons. I use metallic blues and purples and colored directly on the image, then lightly misted with water. In order to get the color vibrancy I wanted, I stamped the image twice, which created a blurry effect for the writing. Once that dried, I used Hologram Highlights Embossing Powder and heat embossed to give the image more dimension.

To finish the card, I used black border stickers to frame the card and mounted the watercolor paper on blue cardstock. The next project I will be sharing, another day will be using some of the B-muse papers.  If you have not checked out those products yet, I encourage you to do so! There is such a gorgeous variety of papers to create fun art work and gifts with. Thank you for taking the time to look today!

Those colours are wonderful for a jellyfish, so like the colours in the centres of the ones we get here. There were times we couldn’t swim because there were too many in the water – but I’m sure glad that they were only small ones and not a giant one like this, no matter how magnificent looking.

What a lovely card, Chrissy with this stamp. The border makes the jellyfish stand out.
