Sea Scenery

Hi Stampers,

Are you all having a wonderful Summer? I hope you do. As I guess some of you are enjoying the seaside and that is why I choose the Mermaids and Oceanlife stamps to make this card for you. I started the background of this card with Broken China Distress oxide ink. The ink was dabbed on my craft sheet and with the white paper pressed to it, you get a wonderful sea like background.

Next choosing a variety of stamps from the sheet and some darker blue ink, I stamped the images and colored a little with pencil. The sentiment was added in black. While I was busy I made two more ATC and I hope you come over to my Craftchaos Blog and see them there. Thanks again for looking and have a creative day!

The coloring is subtle and the mermaid in amongst the fish looks natural. Your use of the “grasses” and bubbles makes it appear 3 dimensional.

What a super underwater scene! I love the way you stamped the fish swimming up close to the mermaid, as if to take a good look at her.
