Napkin Art

Hello, Hetty here with a  card for today with a napkin background. It is the technique of the month in the Art Neko stamp group. I took one of my napkins and only used one layer. I glued it to a piece of white cardstock. Then I embossed it and added some fossilized amber on the raised parts. For the center part i stamped 2 images on top of each other. First a script stamp in the fossilized amber distres ink and on top the Birds on a Blossom Branchhs_artneko_birds_on_flowery_cherry

In the center of the flowers  there are some sticky gemstones. I have not yet added a sentiment for this card can be used for all kind of occasions.

Thank you for looking and until next time. Have a creative day.

So lovely, Hetty. The gold accents are a nice addition to this bold image. How did you make the background so subtle, yet stand out?

How beautiful Hetty – the napkin detail is the pefect backdrop to the blossom branch.

Your background looks really beautiful, Hetty – I’ll be off to your blog to see more details! It’s a great setting for that wonderful stylised bird image, which reminds me of old woodblock or lino prints. And I always think yellow and grey look great together!
