Black and White Christmas Tag

Hi folks, it’s Holly posting today.  Do you like to create tags for your Christmas gifts?  I created this modern black and white Christmas tag using some stamps from the Victorian Christmas stamp set (A167) from Art Neko.

I stamped the snowy village scene with archival black ink onto some white cardstock.  After waiting a few minutes to make sure the ink was dry, I cut this out with an arch die.  I wanted some sparkle on this, so I covered the entire scene with some diamond glitter glue and set it aside to dry.  Meanwhile, I cut out some black cardstock with a slightly larger arch die.  Once the glitter glue was completely dry, I adhered the white arch to the black arch.  You can see the wonderful glittery sparkle in the picture below.

The small Merry Christmas script sentiment on the Victorian Christmas sheet fits perfectly at the bottom of this village scene.  I stamped it with the same archival black ink onto white cardstock and layered it with some black cardstock.  I glued this onto the tag near the bottom.

To finish off my tag, I punched a hole at the top and threaded some ribbons through the hole.  I tied the ribbons together with a narrow white ribbon tied into a bow.  Now I can attach this to a gift and write the recipient’s name on the back with a white or silver pen.

I agree with Sabrina that the arch of the tag is perfect for this beautiful stamp.
