Dragonfly Tag

P1290316

Hello, Hetty here with a tag for you. I am a big fan of Tim Holtz and I follow his blog. Every month there is a tag with a tutorial on how to do it. This is the August tag. Tha base of the tag is colored with red and mustered seed distress stains, then I used a Asian text and colored with vintage distress ink and some water drops. On top the honecomb cut out with Asian papers inside. On top you find the Starry Eyed Dragonfly stamped in versamark and embossed with camelion embossing powder. The tag is finished with some sewing on the lefthand side and a poem stamp.

Hope you all have a wonderful and creative day!

Well, you know already since I commented on your blog, I love this. The hexagon with papers behind it is beautiful, and you certainly captured the shimmer of dragonflies.
