Emerald Holly Christmas

Are you ready for Christmas?  It’s Holly posting today, and I’m sharing this Emerald Holly Christmas card with you.  I was playing around with a new emerald green ink pad and I wanted to see how it looked on a Christmas card.  I stamped the beautiful Holly Corner with the emerald green ink in opposite corners onto white cardstock.  I then sponged the same emerald green ink all over the edges of the paper.  It’s such a vibrant green color!

I found this Merry Christmas sentiment from the Charming Christmas Characters 1 sheet at Art Neko, so I stamped it with black ink onto white cardstock.  I used a pretty label die to cut out the sentiment.  I then added a couple of punched leaves below the sentiment and some red rhinestones for the holly berries in between the leaves.  This sentiment piece is adhered to my card with some foam tape.

Go check out all the wonderful Christmas stamps in the Art Neko store.  You still have plenty of time to shop and stamp your Christmas cards for this season.  Thanksgiving will be here in a couple of days, so I hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday.

It makes a fabulous Christmas green – and it really is emerald! It reminds me of the drawings on the Winsor & Newton bottles of ink, I can see both the faceted emerald on the Emerald Green and the scaly lizard-like thing that was on the Viridian bottle when I see this shade. The red berries just pop!

    Such a lovely card.
Holly, when you show pictures of cards you do for Art Neko, how do you get your name
on the bottom of the card?
If you can share that with me I would love to know.
    Thank you.
