Hello all, Kia back here with you today and I am sharing the Waterlily and Dragonfly Panels stamp. When I took out this stamp to colour, I kept thinking I wanted it in gold, not embossing, but all gold ink colouring, but would it work was my question. So, the only way to find out is to do it. I set up the image in my Misti and stamped in Citrus green several times to get good coverage. I then inked the stamp with embossing ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I proceeded to paint in the golds, adding more layers to some areas. I used the Zig Gansai Starry Colours ink set, painting in the blue golds. As I proceeded the image changed entirely for me, and I must say I do like the look. Once I was done with the golds I added the light blue from the Zig Clean Colour paints for the sky and also added it around the panels. I added layers of matting in the greens and blues, and finished by adding some Key Lime Jewel Drops and the die cut sentiment in black. I love it when a stamp can be used in several ways.
Thank you for joining the Art Neko Blog today. I will look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks.
