Framed Flowers With Kanji

Hi crafting friends! Leah from Paper Blossoms with you today. I love flowers so much and Art Neko has many gorgeous images of them. Today’s card features some of them!

Framed Flowers With Kanji card by Leah Cornelius

This gorgeous image is called (A404) Framed Flowers with Kanji. I stamped the image onto white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then used Copic markers to color it. I really like images that have a frame and are large enough to steal the show 🙂 After I colored the image I trimmed around the frame and mounted it onto a die cut background that has some embossed stitching. I then chose some patterned paper for my card base.

I really enjoy coloring these gorgeous images and letting them shine! Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you’ll create something today.

This is so beautiful, Leah! I love your soft watercoloring. That blue dragonfly really pops against the pink flowers.

What a lovely image, so beautifully coloured. I love the way the dragonfly just pops against the softer pinks. I like the way you trimmed round the frame of the image, too.

This is a beautiful image and beautifully done Leah. I agree with Sabrina, the dragonfly pops against the flowers and I love the way you brought the dsp into the image. Gorgeous card.
