Love You Always

Happy New Year!!  Can you believe it is 2017 already??  It’s Holly posting today, and I’m already looking ahead to the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday.  I’ve got several Valentine cards ready to go, and this is the first one that I am sharing with you.

I started by stamping this beautiful flower frame from the A405 Valentine and Love Stamps plate.  The sentiment, from the same plate, fits beautifully inside this flower frame.  You could stamp it so the flowers are at the top, the side, or the bottom.  I chose to put the flowers on the left side and I stamped the sentiment accordingly.

The red and white polka dot paper actually comes from a Christmas set!  LOL  You can buy this Santa stamp and papers in a special bundle at the Art Neko store.  I love the bright red color of this glossy paper, and it’s perfect for a Valentine card.  I adhered it to a white card base and then I cut out the flower frame and glued it to the red and white polka dot paper.  Some red rhinestones were affixed to the centers of the flowers for that little touch of bling.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my first post for 2017.  Come on back to see what the design team is working on for you this year!

Oh, that flower frame is gorgeous. And I love the kind of retro feel to the card. going with the Sixties sound track the sentiment has triggered in my mind.
