Pocket Card

Hello! Leah with you today with a fun pocket card. Sometimes it’s fun to mix up the card types you make and the library cards and pockets from B Muse were the perfect pairing.

I started by using Distress inks to distress the library pocket. I used the colors Weathered Wood and Bundled Sage with a bit of Broken China. I stamped the sentiment, All things grow with love, in black ink and trimmed it out and distressed it as well. I used a beautiful collage sheet from B Muse for the crane paper background and adhered that onto the pocket. I then stamped the beautiful Circle Medallion of Flowers and Butterflies in red, trimmed it out and adhered it using foam tape.

For the pull out card I used a library card and used another piece from the collage sheet and stamped the Standing Crane Medallion in black in and trimmed it out and adhered it. I then stamped the Love Rose sentiment at the bottom and colored in the rose using Tombow markers. I hope you enjoyed my card today! Thanks for visiting 🙂

Leah, what a wonderful project! Pocket cards are such fun, giving that extra space as a canvas. The crane paper on the front is a lovely promise of what’s inside. The distressing on the pocket looks really super.
