Hello everyone, Kia  here with you today.  Last week I used this same stamp called Framed Tulip, but in a different way and with different colours. Today I have used much deeper colours and sponged on just a tad of the yellow for this one layer card.

I coloured the image with markers and spritzed with water, doing the colours individually to ensure I would not get any bleed.  I then inked up the tulip a second time and stamped without spritzing to get more definition from the tulip. Once I finished the tulip, I sponged on yellow ink in the bottom corner going up the side just slightly.  As I wanted to use this for a birthday card, so I added the birthday sentiment in intense black ink.

To add a bit of sparkle, that unfortunately does not show up in the picture, I added Wink of Stella on the tulip, then added my signature sequins in clear. The sequin along the stem on the right looks like a mistake, it is not, just a seqin that does not look like a sequin. Oh well … stuff happens eh?

Thanks so much for visiting the Art Neko Blog today and I hope you enjoy this card.

Love seeing all the different way of using this beautiful tulip. This is a real CAS knockout with your delicate colouring – the yellow shading looks super.
