Sugarplum Valentine Hearts

Hi everyone, it’s Holly posting today.  I’m sharing this sweet CAS (Clean And Simple) Valentine card with these adorable hearts stamped in a sugarplum ink.  Look closely inside the three hearts.  See the tiny little hearts inside the big hearts?  I love that!  It’s so cute!

I found this sweet little heart stamp on the A405 Valentine and Love Stamps sheet in the Art Neko store.  I stamped it three times with a sugarplum ink and then cut them out with a square die.  I cut out some white squares with a larger square die and matted each of the hearts with foam tape.  I carefully lined up the three heart squares on my card and glued them down across the top.  Then I stamped the sentiment, also from the A405 Valentine and Love Stamps sheet, with the same sugarplum ink underneath the row of hearts.

Wouldn’t it be fun to make a bunch of these cards in different colors?  You’re not limited to just red or pink.  You could use blue or green or even brown to make this a masculine card, and you could go with bright colors like purple or orange if you wanted to make these for your kids.  You could even have fun making each of the hearts a different color and going with a black ink for the sentiment.  Stamping is all about having fun!
