Sunny Bamboo Thanks

Kia with you today with a thank you card to share.  I have a few of these to do, as I am sure we all do. It is a bit of a gloomy day here in Southern Ontario, so I wanted to add a bit of colour to my world.  For this card I coloured my Framed Bamboo with Sun/Moon stamp first using Tombow Markers, then lightly spritzing my coloured stamp with water before stamping.  I heat set my image to make it easier to add additional  colour with my Zig Brushes.  I die cut my image off centre with my stitched rectangles and  for a bit more interest I embossed my card base with a vines embossing folder.  This is a thank you card for a Christmas gift, and as such I like to add a bit of sparkle, so I die cut my thanks using green glitter paper and, rare for me,  I added baker’s twine tied in a bow at the top to finish.

I hope you enjoy today’s post and look forward to seeing you next time.  In the meantime I would like to wish one and all a very Happy and Healthy New Year.

What a lovely thank you card, Kia. I think the twine bow looks great with the fab splash of pink at the bottom of the card, and the long tails of the bow echo the bowing bamboos.
