Skeleton Leaves in Taupe

Hi everyone, it’s Holly popping in with a surprise posting this weekend.  Today I am sharing this card called Skeleton Leaves in Taupe.  I’ve been playing with some of the brand new fall-themed stamps that are now available in the Art Neko store.  See those skeleton leaves?  I have fallen in love with these and I can’t stop stamping them on everything!

When I first started playing with these skeleton leaf stamps, I just grabbed the first inkpad I could see, which happened to be a taupe color.  I then decided to make the entire card taupe and white for an elegant clean and simple look.  After I stamped the skeleton leaves, I cut them out with scissors.  I stamped this beautiful ornate frame and the sentiment from the new A415 sheet (Fall Images and Quotes) with the same taupe color and cut them out.  I arranged the leaves on the frame and then placed the sentiment over the ends of the leaves.  For the card base, I wrapped some taupe lace around a white layer before I glued down the framed piece.  Then I glued the whole thing down on some taupe cardstock.

Check out the fabulous new fall themed stamps in the Art Neko store.  There will be a few more new stamps in the coming weeks, so keep checking back.  I’ve provided the links below so you can start shopping.  Have fun!!

Leafy Foliage Framed Thank You

Good morning!  It’s Holly posting today, and I’m sharing this leafy foliage framed thank you card.  I found this gorgeous Leafy Frame on a sheet of ATC frame stamps, and I knew it would be perfect for a thank you card.  I stamped it with some emerald green ink, let it dry, and then sponged more of the same emerald green ink around the frame.  I then stamped the Thank You sentiment with black ink inside the leafy frame.  The Thank You sentiment is from the Friendship, Get Well, and Thank You’s sheet at Art Neko.  After I cut out the frame, I matted it with some white cardstock and black cardstock.  I then added this to a black card base that was layered with white cardstock.

This is one of those quick and easy cards that I can make multiples of and have on hand when I need them.  I can also change out the sentiment to whatever I need at the moment, whether it is a birthday card, a get well card, an encouragement card, or even a sympathy card.  Have a look at the gorgeous frames HERE in the Art Neko store.  They are perfect for whatever sentiments you want to stamp inside the frames.
