Thank You Cards with Flowers

Hi everyone, it’s Holly posting today.  I needed some thank you cards for some ladies who sent me some birthday cards a few weeks ago.  After looking through my Art Neko stamps, I found this beautiful reverse silhouette flower from the Flowers and Whimsy sheet.  I stamped this in several different colors just to see how it looked, and I loved them all.  The first one in the picture below is stamped with daffodil yellow ink.  The rest are mint, peach, lagoon, and sugarplum inks.

For the “thanks” stamp, I found this one from the Full Sheet of Oriental Images and Text.  I love that it has the tiny bird sitting on the “t” and there is a tiny kanji letter at the end.  This was perfect to stamp near the flower stems on my cards.  I stamped it with a black ink so it would stand out against all the different colors of stamped flower blocks.

I’m going to stamp some more of these cards in a rainbow of colors.  This will be a great addition to my stash for when I need a card in a hurry.  I think I will stamp half of them with a birthday stamp for those times when I need a quick birthday card.  This flower stamp is perfect for any kind of card – birthday, sympathy, thinking of you, and thank you cards.  I hope I’ve inspired you today!  🙂

I too loved discovering that little bird perched on the crossbar of the T, it’s such a sweet thank-you stamp. And such a lovely set of thank-you cards – I know these are for you to use, but wouldn’t they make a beautiful gift!
