Birthday Card

Hello! Hetty here.

I have a masculine birthday card for you. It so happens today is the birthday of my husband and he loves fishes, especially koi fishes. We did have a pond, but now that we have grandchildren, we decided to cover the pond. I am sure in the future we will have one again. So for this card i used the koi stamp here and a wave stamp for the background here.

I started with the white panel and cuting a circle out of it, stamping the wave for background. Then I stamped the fishes on a separate piece of paper with black ink and colored them with orange distress ink and a water brush. After the fishes were cut, I placed one behind the circle. A piece of blue holographic paper behind the white panel and then the other fish was placed on the card.  On light blue I stamped the birthday sentiment and cut it out with a circle die. With one that was a little larger I cut also a circle from the holographic blue paper. Glued together and punching 2 holes I attached the circle with white scrappers floss to the card. Finishing off the card with sticky gemstones.

Thank you for looking and I hope you have a creative day!

Your layout is so effective, especially with the fish in the circle. Using the holographic paper looks great, too. Those koi make for a really great masculine card.
