Hello! Hetty here and wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. As I did not have any special Thanksgiving images, I thought I make this card with children. The family is important on this holiday and children always make it even more festive. The image of the boy came on a little bag that Annette has put into my package. So i cut it and used it in the baclkground of the card. The little girl is from a sheet called Koi and Asian Women. I colored it with pencil and added 3 little gemstones. The border is also from the little red bags. I can always make this into a children’s birthday card or for a new born.

Wishing you all a very happy and special celebration!

Hetty! How charming. The Whimsical Snowman’s soup pot hat is an ideal focal point to a sweet holiday card.

The Children card has its own charm. The little Japanese kimono-clad toddler with her fan sits well on your happy new year Chinese baby celebrating another new year. Clever idea cutting apart the Good Luck Red Chinese New Year envelope and using its elements to complete the card.

What a sweet card, Hetty. It’s true, children make holidays more special. You have a really festive feeling here with the lovely decorative red border – great way to up-cycle the little bag.

Oh Hetty, this is wonderful! That little boy is the same one I have and I’ve been mixing and matching trying to figure out how I want to add it to a card. I love your version with the gold borders and the little girl!
