Gold Dot Snowflake Holiday card

Hi folks!  It’s Holly posting today, and this is the card that I sent to Annette and her family (owners of Art Neko).  I used some of the gorgeous gold dot fabric paper as the background for my snowflakes.  As you can see, the gold really sparkles and shines when you move it in the light.  It’s just beautiful!

I adhered the gold dot fabric paper to a stitched frame that I die cut from lagoon blue cardstock.  This frame was then glued to a kraft card base.  I punched out some snowflakes and glued three of them onto the frame, and then I affixed different colors of sequins to the centers of the snowflakes.

The inside is stamped with a Merry Christmas sentiment from the Charming Christmas Characters 1 sheet from Art Neko.  Unfortunately I don’t have the card here with me, so I don’t have a picture of the inside.  Hopefully this inspires you to make a quick and easy card using the gorgeous fabric papers from Art Neko!

Merry Christmas!!

I like my snowflake “filling” but the dot paper looks fabulous and I know how it’s hard to capture the beautiful shimmer of that gold. What a perfect card for Annette, using both paper and stamps from the store.
