Meadowlark and Holly

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas day if you celebrate and a great day even if you don’t. With so much to be thankful for a nice wintery card is the perfect way to say thanks.

This gorgeous image is called Meadowlark and Holly. I stamped it onto kraft cardstock and colored it with colored pencils. Kraft and colored cardstock were just meant to go together. The white background is a white pencil and I love the softness it lends to the overall image.

Some simple stitching and few sequins are all this pretty bird need. Another great, flat card to send off to someone to say thanks!

Gorgeous colouring on the kraft, Leah, it’s a look I love too. And the way you’ve coloured the background in white, it makes it look like fabric!! In fact, at first I thought you had stamped on fine cotton.
