The Muse of Fall

Hello! Leah here with you today and I have an autumn card to share with you. When I saw this image I just fell in love with it and was so excited to watercolor it. The Muse of Fall is the perfect name for it!

I stamped the image onto watercolor paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink and then watercolored it using Gansai Tambi watercolors. I wanted her to look like the autumn leaves and that they were flowing out of her. Hopefully I achieved that feel!

I stamped the sentiment using one of the 4 seasons Kanji and English. I kept the rest pretty simple with just some paper layering as I really wanted the image to shine. I hope you enjoyed my card! Thanks for stopping by!

A beautiful image, beautifully coloured. I think you really did convey the feeling that the leaves are swirling out from her.

This is gorgeous, Leah! I love your watercoloring! It really does convey that movement of leaves dancing in the wind.
