Three women

Hello everyone! Hetty here with a new card, This time I used the stylized geisha’s in a stylized frame stamp. You find it here. For the background I used a stencil (that I thought looked like a bunch of parasols) and various colors of distress ink: fossilized amber, worn lipstick, wild honey and rusy hinges. By using washi tape, you can set the colors next to each other.

hs_art-neko_woman_stencilWhen I finished the background with colors, I added some smokey black splashes. Then the 3 women are stamped and colored them with the same distress inks as used for the background. After cutting out the image it is mounted to pink and black paper, the same as the card. A ribbon and a sentiment complete the card.

Thank yiou for looking and have a creative day!

It’s amazing how much that stencil is like paper umbrellas. What a gorgeous colour palette you used for them and your trio of oriental ladies.
